This album continues the series of albums containing the music for piano duo that were obligatory pieces at The Bruk International Piano Duo Competition ‘Brother and Sister’ for the last 10 years. No wonder that works of music one could find on its pages are brilliant show pieces for piano duo, easily remembered and dedicated primarily for stage performances. Top gear is guaranteed!

Pieces like Both with hammer and with axe or Trip to Heaven are brilliant showcase pieces, the performer acts in them as a whole orchestra of musicians (especially in the former, which resembles the waltz mutating into march) Dramatic development is innate to Zvony (Toll, the name of the piece speaks of itself) to Eastern Bazaar , Centaur Dance, which resembles the famous Sabre Dance by Khachaturian. Lyric moods also find their place at the album pages. The well known Waltz from St Petersburg Mysteries, and Waltz dedicated to Charles Dickens, which inherits some features of Walrz-Fantasy by M. Glinka.
