GETALOVA Olga
Olga Getalova — is a well known piano teacher and author in Russia and abroad. During her work as a teacher in Gatchina (suburb of St. Petersburg), she conceived and created many teaching aids for kids. These teaching aids and albums vividly decorated and cleverly and purposefully made facilitate the process of acquiring piano skills and musicianship for very young pupils.
The first teaching aid by Olga Getalova and Irina Vianaya was published in 1997 and instantly became a hit. They are hugely popular in Russia and translations were made to other languages, including Japanese.
The albums include pieces written by O. Getalova, which are easy to play and at the same time have instructive value.
