The Petersburgian Album gives wide spectre of the music, composed by Petersburgian authors: Yu. Falik, S. Slonimsky, G. Belov using orthodox texts, G. Korchmar and S. Yekimov using catolic texts, Yu. Falik, D. Smirnov and A. Petrov using the verses by the Russian and foreign poets and folk texts.
Actually all the choruses on this CD were kindly composed by the Petersburgian authors for Women's Choir of the St. Petersburg N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Music College.
