These issues of the “Cello around the world” series are wholly based on the dances of the world, from the Baroque era (J. S. Bach, J.-Ph. Rameau, G. F. Händel) and Romanticism (J. Brahms, F. Liszt, R. Wagner, Ch. Gounod) to the authors of the XXth century (G. Gershwin, S. Joplin, B. Bartók). Pupils and students can find here a wide spectrum of world dance music, from Tambourine (by Rameau), Gavotte (by Bach), Minuet (by Boccherini) and Polonaise (by Ogiński) to Csárdás (by Monti), Tango (by Gardel), Ragtime (by Joplin) and Cakewalk (by di Capua). Many of these pieces remain popular to this day and frequently sound in different arrangements. The version for cello and piano is offered for the first time.

Musical pieces follow one after another from simple to complex. The collection includes educational and concert repertoire for children music schools and music colleges.
