Nina Zhemoldinova a well-known Petersburgian cello teacher, practising for almost thirty years. She is given the award of the Honoured Worker of the Russia Culture. Now she conducts cello class at the Musical College in St Peterburg.

The pieces forming this edition are widely used in educational programmes, they are a success at concerts. Children and teachers are invited to appreciate accessibility in both technique and aesthetic objectives.
