Bibergan V. Suite in Retro Style for Brass Quintet. Score and parts

Vadim Bibergan (born in 1937) belongs to the glorious galaxy of Peterburgian composers. His cretion embraces almost all the possible genres. Symphonic and chamber sphere interlaces with the Russian folk orchestra music, sound-tracks for theatre and cinema performances.
Bibergan special passion for the winds is opulently revealed in opchestral and ensemble genres. The composer's cooperation with the distinguished trumpeter Vitaly Volkov goes back a long way. It was exactly V. Volkov, the Minsk Conservatopre professor to conceive the idea of Bibergan's pieces arranged for quintet. 
Thus the suite was formed in 2003. Among the seven pieces entering it, there are the ones for brass band, dating different years (nos 1, 2, 6, 7) and the four-hands piano ensembles (nos 3–5). Bibergan made the special performing edition of two pieces — the “Greeting March” and “Polka-Buffo” (finale).
Every listener has the individual nostalgic world, where the composer plunges him to with the irony inherent to the word “retro”. As to any executant preferring the joyful garish music, this suite shall suit their necessities down to the ground.
