Mnatsakanyan A. Entreaty. Fresco for the twelve cellos

Alexander Mnatsakanyan (1936–2013) — russian composer, member of the Russian Composers' Union, professor of the Saint-Petersburg's Conservatoire. 

Vnatsakanyan's creations have enjoed popularity in our country and aboad, entering the concert life of Hungary, England, Japan, USA and other countries.

The fresco “Entreaty” for 12 cellos was composed for the Petersburgian cellists' ensemble conducted by A. P. Nikitin. The piece was performed by this group not once at the festival “Musical Spring in St Petersburg” and at the author's concerts in 2000–2003.
