The year 2000 is the jubelee one for Bach's creation, therefore all the world is inundated with concerts and competitions named after him. However, luckily, his music is necessary not only during such celebrations. Young musicians would very much like to have J. S. Bach's compositions in their stock. 

Thus the idea was born, stipulating for the necessity of executing ariasand chorusesby children. The idea was to collect together all the arias and choruses, easily sung by children. The proposed collection united pieces from the music, edited in Moscow, St Petersburg, Kiev, Novosibirsk, Budapest and other cities. The principle of choruses' disposition is — from the easy to the complicated one, from small monophonic arias to the duets with developed forms and further to three- and four-voice textureThe chorals available for mixed youthful groups are placed at the end of the book.
