Mozart W. A. Requiem. Piano score

The Requiem by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is used to be hear much more often than many of his opuses.

As to the Requiem's first performances; the information abou1 their dates differ. The following version is accepted nowadays. The completed excerpts (with Freisthdtler's additions) were represented on December 10, 1791 during the commemorative mass in honour of Mozart. The renderings in Mi1nich and Prague are also mentioned. One and а half year after the composer's death the hall of Jahn' witnessed the premiere, the benefit concert in favour of his widow was held. However, there was one more queer performance, when the composition was represented as the one by the Count Walsegg zu Stuppach at the Cistercian Church in Wienner Neustadt on December 14, 1793.
