Melnik I. 3 concert pieces for clarinet and piano. Score and part

Concertino was written in 1984 and first performed at Ion Melnik’s 50th anniversary concert in Moscow, in October of 1985.
Vocalise was originally composed for a wind orchestra in 1987. During the 1980’s, Ion Melnik was the conductor and music director of the Sokolniki Park wind orchestra in Moscow. The first performance of Vocalise was in Sokolniki in 1987.

Composition “Fate plays with a man and he plays the trumpet” was originally created for a wind orchestra in 1984 and was included in the repertoire of the Sokolniki Park’s orchestra in the 1980’s when Ion Melnik was its musical director and conductor.
