This is the exposition of dominating vocal styles and schools having been undergoing now interpenetration and reciprocal influence, now isolation and independent development. As the material is organized according to diverse trends, historical tendencies and national cultural peculiarities, it would be rather easy for teachers and students of all possible grades.
