“Great Russian Arias” is a modern universal edition of famous and rare scenes from opera music by Russian composers of XIX–XXI centuries.
Our publishing house counts on publishing of several volumes for every type of voice, from soprano to bass, without timbre classification. The current publication is notable for expanded version of many scenes and arias, with prior recitatives, introductions, and finals, quite interesting to perform. In cases when there exist stable traditions of using both pre-revolution and Soviet librettos, and there are known the interpretations and cadences made by famous singers, there are offered several variants of performing. For foreign performers there is offered a transliteration
of Russian lyrics, which considers the difference in spelling and pronunciation of Russian words.
The musical material of every compilation is intended for both using in educational practice and concert performing.
