Igor Stefanovsky is a Russian pianist. In 1994 he graduated the Ural State Conservatory named after M.P.Musorgsky. His repertoire includes works by J.S. Bach, L. van Beethoven, W.A. Mozart, I. Brahms, R. Schumann, F. Mendelssohn, S Rakhmaninov, P. Tchaikovsky and others. Stefanovsky tours in Russia and abroad as the solo performer so also as the chamber ensemble artist. His interpretations of some compositions of Bach and Brahms, performed in his own transcriptions, are caused a special interest. The closest in spirit to the performer are the works of German romantics, some of which are included in this album.
