Popolzin V. Jazz Album for accordion (bayan). Middle and senior grades of children music school

Enjoy true jazz compositions — most easy and suitable for any performer, eager to learn new abilities of accordion and bayan, worked out especially for jazz music. Combinations of basses, prepared chords in the left hand with the melody and rhythmically measured phonations in the right hand resemble real jazz band. Constructive features of the left keyboard allow the main and auxiliary rows to be used simultaneously with the chords, for to reveal clear rhythmic organization.  

Recollecting my pedagogical and concert practice, I do believe these pieces will make for any student’s rhythmical skill, inventiveness and creativity Young musicians will hopefully enjoy this first step along the jazz way. 

Now let’s comment the pieces.

“Not Just Bellows” is the kind of improvisation with inculcated jazz turns. The pieces “Lullaby for Angel” (for chromatic button accordion) and “New Year for Snow Maiden” are the kind of fantastic music sketches.
