Vladimir Orlov (born in 1976) connected his life with accordion from the studying in the St Petersburg Conservatoire, where he mastered his skill at professors P. I. Govorushko and O. M. Sharov.
Musical folk competitions brought success to Orlov both in Russia and abroad. In 1990, Petersburg; 1994, Murmansk; 1995, Belgorod; 1998, Chendu, China — he was awarded the first prize. The D. D. Shostakovich Contest «Classica Nova» (1997, Hannover, Germany), where he nearly stopped the show and the Grand Prix at the International Competition “Baltica-Harmonica” (1996, Petersburg).
Vladimir Orlov continues hitting marks at concert stages, teaching in the Petersburg Conservatoire and the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College.
