Nina Siniakova (*1974, Minsk) — composer and pianist, having studied in Minsk, St. Petersburg and K?ln. Her teachers were Boris Tishchenko and Christoph Meyer.

Siniakova’s music style is closely connected with the traditions of Bart?k, Lutoslawsky and Shostakovich, being evidently influenced by folklore and jazz trends. The scale of her creations includes symphonic, chamber, choir opuses, so as popular and children’s genres. Professor Ch. Meyer considers Nina Siniakova to be “one of the most interesting composers of the young generation”.

Her piano activity — solo and ensemble one — passed in the Small Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Society, Small Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, Beethoven-Haus in Bonn etc. Such distinguished Russian composers as B. Tishchenko and G. Banshchikov dedicated their opuses to Siniakova, which were successfully performed by her.

The Sonata for selectedly-prepared accordion (the first in St. Petersburg) was initiated by the well-known accordionist Vladimir Orlov, teacher of the Petersburg Conservatoire, who also made for this composition to come into being.
