Kozlov V. Childrens Suite. For six-stringed guitar

The name of guitarist and composer Victor Kozlov is widely known to guitarists and guitar-lovers in our country. His music is performed from Brest to Khabarovsk, particularly since Chelyabinsk has been situated right between them, at the Urals. Victor Kozlov is the laureate of the All-Russian and International competitions, professor and the head of the Folk Instruments' Department at the Chelyabinsk Music Academy, jury member of numerous guitar competitions, which are sometimes held by him. Kozlov's concert activity embraces the best philharmonic halls of our contry and abroad as well.

I do believe, it's very important to mark, that Victor Kozlov is a “performing” composer, able to execute his own music himself. None of the young guitarists' competition gets on without vivid, clear and sticking in one's mind pieces by Victor Kozlov. It's great gift, when the musician is able to write music, especially for children. Kozlov is endowed with it.

The “Children's Suite”, represented in this edition has already taken fancy of the young musicians.
