Igor Rogalyov (born in 1948) is ranked among the galaxy of the Petersburgian composers. Different kinds of operas; symphonic, string and chamber scores; vocal cycles concertos so as choral large-scaled cantatas and oratorios belong to this fruitful author. Rogalyov also hits marks in the sphere of theatre and cinema music.

The “Autumnal Motetus” for three guitars was composed in 2001. It was the Belgian trio “Cadenza” to have ordered this very opus.
