Ensemble is some group of performers, acting together. Of course, there are classical instrumental casts in use, such as piano duet, string quartet, winds quintet, so as the duet of guitars presented in the collection you are holding right now.
The art of ensemble playing is based on each performer’s skill of balancing his individuality (i. e. the style, technical devices) with the partner’s one, that would make for harmonious and slender interpretation of the composition.
This is the collection of different styles and genres. Broad range of complexity makes proposed compositions be studied by pupils of absolutely different technical abilities — from music-lovers and pupils of music schools up to mature performers. Strokes and fingering are put in the most burning places. In case of their absence, performers may choose convenient strokes for themselves.
Hopefully, the collection would be a success, because guitar duet is one of the most enjoyable casts, distinct for cordial phonations, recalling wonderful instants and promising pleasure.
