Harp is the instrument, which is entirely able to meet the requirements of Eduard Patlayenko's musical imaginary sphere. The author's idea of this music may be easily considered to originatefrom the impressions, recalled by the harp playing, its mostly delicate hints. Though the composer resorts to the modern devices of the harp technique, the performer feels really comfortable, while mastering this facture. Patlayenko uses all the scale of harp colourings. Only at the end of the composition the harpist is to take out the real bell, mixing the harp's timbre with the other sound's timbre.
“Likyolda” is a pleasant and effective composition, able to evoke tears at the excited listeners (as it happened in Germany). Any young harpist's educational repertoire will be really enriched with this wonderful composition's insertion.
