Grigory Gryaznoy, opriсhnik guаrdiаn of Tsаr Ivan Grоznу, is rасked bу violent passion to Marfа, merсhаnt's dаughter. Meanwhile she is in lоve with the nоblemаn Ivan Lуkоv.
