Verdi G. La Traviata. Opera. Vocal score

“La Traviata” is the third opera of the famous “triad” by Giuseppe Verdi (1813–1901), dating the first period of the 1850ies: “Rigoletto” — “Il Trovatire” — “La Traviata”. Verdi's creation responded to turbulent revolutionary events in Italy of that time.

Thus the 1849 was marked by the patriotic rising, when Roman was proclaimed the Republic and the rebellion was put down after all. However, in 1850 the composer concentrated his attention upon the intricate word of individual human soul.
