These 21 easy melodic piano compositions present a selection of works composed during the entire lifetime of composer Ion Melnik. The earliest of these, “Opus 1. 1941,” is the very first composition written in the Fall of 1941. Ion Melnik once said that the idea for that composition came from a pendulum clock. Most compositions included here were created in the 1970’s and 1980’s, but some were composed much later on. Examples of later works include: “Hey, Atlanta” which was composed in 2003 and “Louisiana” written in 2005 during his brief stay in Louisiana.
