Selected Fragments from the Ballet Corsair

Up to present times the piano score if the ‘Corsair’ ballet is a rarity, in Russia it exists only in written copies, thus demand for it is not satisfied. Based on the conductor score and several piano copies the author created unified editions of the most popular and often performed fragments of the ballet. The present collection is a result of multiple efforts and clarifications of tempos, dynamics and strokes with the purpose of correlating them with the conductor score.

The present collection can be of a great help and of interest both for the ballet concertmasters and for the wide circle of ballet goers.
