Metallidi Zh. From North to South. Ensembles for piano in 4 hands

I chanced to travel quite a lot along our country. Sometimes the reminiscences and impressions of these trips turned to music. That was the way, how the suite “Yugra” was born.

Yugra is a wonderful national park of Khanty at the North, where the colleagues from the city Megion took me to the excursion. These are long-lasting creative contacts, that have been connecting me with this place.

The Sea Suite reflects my emotions, evoked by my journey along the Black Sea and in particular swimming with aqualang in the Hersoness Bay near Sevastopol.

As to the pieces Romantic Waltz and Scherzo, included to this collection, they were compulsory at the ensemble competition “Brother and Sister”.
