Stuchinskaya I. Music of the 20ieth century. Vol. 1. For Two Pianos

This is the symphony music of the 20th century to “make heaven drowsy with the harmony“ (as Shakespeare once said about love in his Love's Labour' s Lost.)

It looks mostly expedient to instill symphony music arrangements to the piano four hands ensemble repertoire. Let's remember fashionable transcriptions of the “Rite of Spring” by Stravinsky, or Prokofiev's suites from his ballets.

The represented collection is not distinct for any innovation; however, executants are welcome to get in touch with favourite hits, such as the Romance by Sviridov from the film “Blizzard”.

It would be fine and easy to play “Monument to Lidice” by B. Martinu and extensive fragments from the ballet “Anna Karenina” by R. Shchedrin.

Thus the proposed collection is worth to be used at piano lessons, so as in concert and home practice.
