The Pianist's Golden Repertoire published by the Compozitor Publishing House • Saint-Petersburg includes the most popular in concert and teaching practice pieces by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy (1809–1847). The collection embraces Rondo capriccioso (op. 14) and four songs without words: No 34, 36 (op. 67), 43, 45 (op. 102). The original numeration of songs is printed before each of them in brackets. Those titles of pieces which have not been given by the author but have become traditional are in square brackets.
