The “Composer” Publishing House (St Petersburg) offers you Études-tableaux by Sergei Rakhmaninov in two music volumes in the “Pianist's Golden Repertoire” series. The first music volume comprises 6 études-taleaux forming op. 33 which was written by the composer at the flowering period of his autstanding talent as quickly as within а month (August 11 — September 11, 1911). It was at the time of his stay in the Ivanovka estate, Tambov province. The influence of the Russian middle zone nature is strongly felt in many parts of this cycle.
