“Composer” Publishing House (St. Petersburg) offers you Preludes by Sergei Rakhmaninov (1873–1943) as edited by Р. Lamm in three volumes as а part of the Pianist’s Golden Repertoire series.
All the Preludes were written in different times: the first, ор. 3, No. 2, was written in 1892, the following ten, ор. 23, in 1901–1903, and the last thirteen, ор. 32, in 1910. As а result there was а whole cycle of 24 pieces, put together as guided by the principleе of contrast and alternation of all the twelve major and twelve minor keys.
