In the present collection Rubinstein's works аre printed under the editorship of Professor К. Igumnov (first published in 1945-1947). The editor has reproduced the text of the composer's editions, while correcting errata, filling up evident lapses (in square brackets), and adding commentaries regarding the original versions of the works published (in the present collection these commentaries аre omitted).
