Leonid Rezetdinov (b. 1961) is graduated from SPb Conservatoire where he studied composition under guidance of Maitre B. Tischenko in 1985. Since 1988 he is established composer, the member of Composers Guild of Russia. He writes extensively for symphonic orchestra, choir, Russian folk ensembles and chamber ensembles, he is an author of 3 symphonies, 5 cantatas, etc.
Music ideas of this album emanated from well known and loved fairy tales by Brothers Grimm, K. Tchukovsky, S. Aksakov. Arrangements of fork tunes and dances for ensembles are intended for music school pupils.
