Russian piano heritage. Ekaterina Mechetina’s album–1

The new series of the “Compozitor • Saint Petersburg” Publishing House is addressed to a wide circle of musicians of around the world, both professional and amateur, giving them the opportunity to enjoy the Russian piano heritage in line with the words of the outstanding composer Sergei Slonimsky: “True success comes to a work, when it is studied not only in concert halls, but also at home, at the piano”.

To ensure that the collections meet various tastes, we reached out to several famous pianists with the request to compile albums of Russian piano music that are particular to them.

We bring to your attention the first album by Ekaterina Mechetina.
