Trumpet is a very popular instrument, a traditional member of the wind or symphonic orchestras, pop or jazz ensembles, which is also loved by solo performers. Accordingly the repertoire for trumpet needs to be supplemented with fresh material.

This edition includes pieces for piano and trumpet by contemporary Russian composers, which have been continually performed at the concerts. This collection has a methodic orientation. The pieces are arranged according to the principle of increase of difficulty and can be included into repertoire of children arts schools and also of secondary and higher musical educational institutions.
