12 Etudes-exercises are intended for the studying viola’s measure while passing from a violin to viola. It usually happens after the 5th – 7th forms of the music school, when the student-violinist has already the command of necessary skills. That’s why these Etudes are composed for the average level of technique without special tempo indications. These Etudes-exercises will be of great use for scale-like and arpeggio techniques, different sequence-like structures, strokes training, intervals and simple double sounds and chords.
