Schnittke A. Concerto for alto and orchestra. Piano score and parts (Coll. Works. S. III, Vol. 11b)

This piano arrangement is based on the full score published in the present Collected Works Edition
(series III, volume 11а).

The solo viola part is given without editorial performing directions, as, unfortunately, the publishers could not get the performing directions from Yuri Bashmet, the dedicatee and first performer of the solo part of this work.

The duration of the work is given according to the catalogue of Schnittke’s works, compiled by Alexander Ivashkin in cooperation with the composer himself.
