Arkhimandritov B. Northern Land. Sonata № 3 for violin and piano

Boris Ivanovich Arkhimandritov (1932–2009) — the Petersburgian composer, whose creation includes operas, symphonies, cantatas and numerous chamber-vocal and instrumental opuses. This is exactly the modal (polymodal) sphere, where his pure individual style is amply revealed, although the composer is easy in all modern compositional technique methods.

The Sonata No 3 for violin and piano “The Northern Land” refers to 2004, being cast by the severe magnificent beauty of the Gulf of Finland and its environments.
