Mazas J. F. Etudes D'Artistes for violin solo

The French violinist and composer Jacques-Fereol Mazas (1782–1849) is the author of operas and chamber-instrumantal compositions. Working as the orchestra concertmaster of the Italian opera in Paris he remained in the history as the creator of instructive collections for violinists, including etudes, variations etc.

His “School for Violin” was published in Russia with the edition of the famous Russian violinists and teacher Ivan Grzhimali.

The collection “Etudes d'artistes” is recommended as the manual for the students of junior forms in children music school.
