The author of this book is Yair Kless, prominent Israeli violinist and teacher. Many of his pupils won awards at various International competitions.
The book is dedicated solely to this specific stroke, that often presents a serious problem on the way of violin skill development. The exercises comprised in the album are aimed at the bow grip development and control of the sound quality.
Apart from various exercises the book contains explanation materials by well known violinists and teachers regarding this stroke. The material is arranged by the principle of increasing difficulty.
