The present album comprises virtuoso pieces that enhance velocity and finger action of the violinist. The appealing to any violinist word “virtuosity” is not gained by sheer physical reaction (though not without it) but by efficient structuring of the music material. For this purpose young violinist plays special pieces, the most instructive and at the same time most beautiful of those one finds included in the present compilation.

The album contains articles in English and Russian that help the pupil and his teacher comprehend virtuosity and the ways of acquiring the one.

The order of the pieces is from light to difficult, the age range is from the 3rd year of studies to the 1st years of the college.
