Slonimsky S. Star of Orient. For violin and piano

Sergey Slonimsky (b.1932) — is a famous Russian contemporary composer. He composes in many genres – operas and ballets, symphonies and chamber works, soundtracks and others.

This violin miniature, The Star of Orient was composed in 2006 and dedicated to the children, Marianne and Alexander, and was performed by those in St-Petersburg in 2002.
