The series of editions intended for clarinet (saxophone) studying in the Children Music School is completed by this educational aid for the Fifth form. The studies entering it are disposed so as in the previous collections for the 1–4 forms, i. e. according to the increasing complexity.

The material represented in this collection is suitable both for clarinet and all sorts of saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor and baritone). As the range differs at the mentioned instruments their may be used octave transferences (up and down) of both separate sounds (absent at the played instrument) and musical phrases.

Tempos fluctuations, variations of strokes and respiratory control are realized in etudes on saxophone depending on the student’s abilities.

As the clarinet pieces expounded in the B pitch are executed by alto and baritone saxophones in Es they require to be transposed (either piano part or the soloist’s part).

The collection contains studies and pieces of high complexity, which are suitable also for music colleges.
