It happened in 1840, when there appeared the wind instrument of marvelous sound called saxophone. Quite of a sudden, the composers of the whole world discovered there couldn't be ever ample satiated orchestral scores without this magic passionate hue. Among them were Bizet, Rakhmaninov, Ravel, Shostakovich, Hachaturyan. Jazz and variety palette can't be satisfactory without saxophone.
What is required of the beginning saxophonist? Of course, this is the knowledge of styles and trends. This collection embraces the experiences of different stylistic representatives that would be useful for the performing technique and for the emotional expressive sphere to be enhanced.
